In October 2004, there was a formal meeting of the Tower Hamlets Council’s cabinet, which did refer to the Council’s role in the Crossrail hole plot. 

Based on the evidence of what was observed by members of the community present at the meeting, a statement was published by KHOODEELAAR! asserting – repeat ASSERTING – that the then councillor Michael Keith had failed to represent the whole community’s position in his uttered remarks at that cabinet meeting.

This was disputed by Christine Gilbert, then still in post as the Council’s chief executive and Christine Gilbert wrote to CBRUKcentral as part of the KHOODEELAAR! campaign [sponsored by and is in partnership with the wholly voluntary, non-profit, non-careerist ethical and political campaign CBRUK] ASSERTING THAT SHE, Christine Gilbert, had attended the same meeting and that HER RECOLLECTION WAS different from what Khoodeelaar! had published on the utterances by Michael Keith.

To add apparent substance to her assertion, Christine Gilbert wrote to CBRUK stating that she had also seen the minutes of the ‘cabinet’ meeting concerned and that the minutes proved her assertion.

Logically, the KHOODEELAAR! campaign wrote to  Christine Gilbert and asked to be given a copy of the minutes which she had asserted to have seen. She never did. There have been over a dozen separate requests or formal demands for the Council to substantiate Christine Gilbert’s assertion in backing Michael Keith.

There has been no substantiation.

The key matter in the Michael Keith utterance was that he had referred to a very small – “numerically, politically, campaign-wise and in terms of local or indeed ‘professional’ relevance or presence” grouping. He made NOT one single reference to any other organisation. Many exist or were in existence in October 2004 in the same area which have [and di have in October 2004] a bigger and more popular and populous relevance than the one Michael Keith referred to.

Why did Christine Gilbert make that misleading statement?
Why did she fail to substantiate her assertion when asked to do so?
Why had Michael Keith made the reference leaving out all the other groups?

What happened to the hundreds of items containing references to Tower Hamlets Councillors claiming expenses in relation to events they claimed to have attended containing references to Crossrail?

By ‘what happened’ is here meant the fact that on the Tower Hamlets Council’s web site, 100s of files were accessible with the information stated above. But those files vanished from the Tower Hamlets Council’s web site after Khoodeelaar! began to put questions about the role of each of the councillors who were claiming expenses for the events cited.

What documentary material have you prepared showing the chronology of the activities and the independent of the corporate Tower Hamlets Council containing ALL the information that do not breach any person’s commercial or private or personal interests or privacy but which completely show the Council’s role in relation to representing the community’s current, medium term and longer term interests in the most reasonable, honest, constitutional, legal and accountable way over Crossrail?

Why were e-mail addresses containing, carrying, delivering the questions from KHOODEELAAR! being BLOCKED for years? Was it an order made by Christine Gilbert? Or was it an order mace by any councillor? Or by more than one? Or was there some other person or were there some other persons who had made the operative decision?

The reason why KHOODEELAAR! has been offering the option to the named employee in the Crossrail hole plot-inviter LB Tower Hamlets Council and to any other employed [or contracted or agency-related person or personnel] in the context of the KHOODEELAAR! constitutional law actions [due to be filed in the UK court/s in the very near future, as soon as the procedural loose ends have been tied and all the known formalities completed, before the effective filing of the case/s can take place] is summarised below:- The KHOODEELAAR! campaign operates a standard of ethics and constitutionality that includes the treatment of the ‘parties’ with fairness and what is understood by natural justice. It is important to emphasise that it is an integral part of the philosophy of the KHOODEELAAR! campaign to give all concerned due opportunities to make all the relevant information available to us so that we can leave them out of the lists of the intended defendants. This is an important point. A number of defendants will be named and identified as such. The KHOODEELAAR! legal action/s is [are] intended to address named councillors.

And THEIR liabilities. 

This is within the democratic and constitutional law context the main group of defendants containing the relevant holders of liability for the relevant wrongs and the relevant acts of illegality and unconstitutionality. If in the particular instance the evidence shows that any other person, other than a councillor, has been so deeply and intimately involved with the operation of a wrong then that person will be included as made plain in our many previously published statements on this. the named employee in the Crossrail hole plot-inviter LB Tower Hamlets Council and the named employee in the Crossrail hole plot-inviter LB Tower Hamlets Council bare the two employees AT THE RELEVANT time of the LB Tower Hamlets Council who have been found to have been involved in the promotion of the Crossrail hole agenda in ways that make it necessary to have their roles held to public account. If however there exists any evidence that shows that the evidence of their deep involvement is countered by evidence of their being under controlling influences from one or more than one councillor then that will be taken into account and if appropriate the two will be left out of the list. Not even for the full headline. Which reads, “Bishops march on London over deadline to halve poverty”. The part of the headline that is most telling is, “Bishops march on London’. And what is so important about that headline and the relevant fact? The significance is that there is no political party in Britain any more. That MPs, those allegedly elected, allegedly representative of the people in the ‘mother of parliaments’, the ‘Palace of Westminster’… The poverty of Parliament is not at all new. The Palace of Westminster IS about creating poverty…Not, of course, for its ‘members’. They are rolling in allowances and in lists including the John Lewis List… The Palace of Westminster creates poverty for the people out in the community Or rather out in the country…..And yet the Palace of Westminster persists…. That the poverty-creating parliament at Westminster persists in being is another irony. This one is a big symbol of what is wrong with political institutions…. The word poverty when used about the Place of Westminster is not just a plain word . It is poverty on every level. Spiritual poverty. Intellectual poverty. Moral poverty. Ethical al poverty.
