And KHOODEELAAR! Has pointed this out at every instance… We have said and we reiterate the point today [9 February 2009] that the London Crossrail is ill-conceived, ill-designed, ill-matched to the actual and the deeper transport needs of and in London and that Crossrail is obsolete and does not address the most urgent transport priorities in and of London. Khoodeelaar! has said FOR YEARS now that the hyped up City of London was a huge liability on the economy… A fact that they are only now beginning to recognise……After the onset of the downturn… KHOODEELAAR! is advising Gordon Brown to make use of the ‘way out’ that is available in the ‘expert’ report commissioned [by Gordon Brown when UK Finance Minister] and published in the name of Rod Eddington and cite Eddington’s recommendations as a rational way to ditch Crossrail… It is still not too late before Brown travels into the economic and the electoral abyss by boarding the vehicle of wasteful and unsustainable diversions… [To be continued]
