For the past two days, the Big Biz propaganda for HS2 has been extreme. The result of that has included the normally un-rushed INDEPEDEMNT doing its print front page today repairing the HS2 having been in FECCT given the final go-ahead. This is a dubious front page. The go-ahead too is a dubious concept as the formal potholder of the go-ahead, has been herself unreliable when it comes to auditing public expenditure in the context of the need and the economic value. Justine Greening, whom I had recognised in my commentaries at one stage pre the 2010 UK General Elections as a possible claimant to being a near-reliable MP. But she has gone down almost without exception since that Election and since the appearance of the CONDEM Collusion. Ms Greening has been a front-bench albeit pliant participant in that Collusion. And the reason is simply stated. She has been interested in office. So she has shut her thinking brain almost down and has embarked on the opportunistic project that has now ended with her being installed at the helm of the bureaucracy at the UK DAFT.
UK DAFT is the UK Department fore Transport, abbreviated to DfT.. It is DAFT because of the depth of ignorance, idiocy, incompetence and Idiocy that it is submerged in. Most of the daft things that the DAFT has done or failed to do have been at the expense of the public and the public’s transport needs and welfare.

What even the BBC has been admitting today, IN EFFERCT, is that the KHOODEELAAR! No to the entire CROISSRAIL scam is as validly applicable and as good for the UK GDP as it was to the crassly conceived Crassrail scam. The DfT has again failed to show that it is value for money. The UK DfT is DAFT because it is not fit for purpose.

Here is my instant rebuttal to Sky News.

Why?

Because on the showing this evening, SKY NEWS is serving the Big Business agenda.  As opposed to the agenda that must serve the people. Ordinary people. Unprmoted, unglamorous, grass roots people.  But SKY NHEWS hides that fact most of the times. Only on the very rare occasions does it allow any insight to intrude. Just as it had doen last Saturday, when it ran a very important piece about the 2012 Games Hosting bonanza not benefiting peopel in the so-called Olympic Boroughs. Back to the normal “diet” that Sky News dishes out. It is for the benefit of Big Business.

Big Business agenda is alive and it is kicking society [oops! BIG] Society, in the groin even at a “sentimental moment” like this. “Charismas Eve” is supposed to be a hugely caring occasion in the West. Britain is no exception. It is during the weeks before Christmas that all the “caring” effusions are displayed.

Yet the “Media”, the mainstream of it, is as bereft of true caring contents tonight as it has been for the rest of the year. The evidence came in the introduction to a programme broadcast in the past hour by Sky news and called “Jeff Randall’s Christmas Dinner”.

The piece contained a brief comment by the head of the Imperial Tobacco conglomerate, one of the UK’s biggest companies [“We are a leading international tobacco company”]. She stated one of the standard issue slogans about the media: that a “free” media in Britain was vital and so she felt that regulation of the media should be done by a genuinely independent body. The independent body should include representatives from the tobacco industry as well! There was no evidence in the falsified SKY news Christmas Dinner [recorded a while ago and trailed for the past few days] of the hardships done to the millions of people by the banks or by the bankers.

In fact the opposite image of Big Business was created. As shown in the presentation of the “wisdom” of Jeff King, the J. Sainsbury Group’s chief executive, one of the three taking part in the “Dinner”.  Nor were there any references to any evidence on the real faults and flaws in “the economy”. Nor about how it works. Or fails to work. Society was not centre stage in this over-hyped Sky news”current affairs” “top billed” “high-octane”  “extravaganza”! The vast majority of ordinary viewers watching the “Jeff Randall Christmas Dinner” would feel that they were suffering a gossipy chat. Totally unexplained renditions of slogans and sound bytes were thrown in.

Nothing was reported about why people blamed banks and bankers. In fact, bank and bankers were promoted by the bankers’ rep that appeared on the “Dinner”. In fact the only really civil-society words were uttered towards the end by the bankers’ rep himself. He actually uttered a phrase about guarantee of our civil liberties or of “our liberties”.

And he said that the free press or the free media was about the only guarantor of liberties in this country. Nothing was said or suggested about the actual contents, let alone THE ROLE played day to day by the print media on the whole or of the sound or visual media in misinforming the masses and in misleading the masses and in creating the myths and perpetrating the lies that actually keep society unfair, unjust as far as the experience of millions of peopel are concerned.

Given the thrust of that show, a gossipy promotion for Big Business as benign and ultimately good for the rest of us! It was another let down, another abuse of “media power”. It was the perpetration of the status quo.

The same myths, the same lies. Big Business rules. And Big Business rules are good! Jeff Randall did what the BBC had been doing more frequently with their over-promoted Business “thinker” who hosts a regular slot promoting Big Corporation bosses.

The BBC fails to tell the truth in that slot and it fails to deliver the public service duty to inform. [To be continued]

A year ago this week, Kay Jordan was still worried about the health of a number of people. Her friends. Kay Jordan looked frail as she ran around worrying for her friends. One was in Hamlets. Another in Stepney. And she was on the go. Tired. But on the go,. Exhausted. But on the go. And she had the minute’s details of each of her friends’ state of health at that moment…

Kay Jordan’s values, as I can emphatically assert, were on valuing people.

And people made community.

And nowhere in England needed more of her time and endevours valuing people than the East End of London. That is how Kay Jordan saw the area… She pulled resources to make community stable. And there was no more potent resource than the one that she personified.

Kay Jordan’s values are the most valuable of the support that the Khoodeelar! Campaign received.

And together, we have stopped the one big Business assault plotted against the community.

Now, what of the community after the stopping of that hole?

Editor © Muhammad Haque.  Today’s [Sunday] [Fleet Street] “papers”. And the “review” of the papers by Sky News and BBC News Channel.  The papers failed on the whole to report the world truthfully. The failure was even worse in their coverage or emptiness on Britain.  So much injustice goes on daily in “society” that a representative list of the incidents of injustice alone would take up the major space in an average sized and depth of a newspaper.

Yet the papers don’t have the news of the injustice.

They have token items.

And with the OBSERVER [which has been Guardian-ed for years now] providing the sole  “potent” item for “contention” by carrying the allegedly angsty letter by “the bishops” about something they call “welfare”, the robotised participants in the “reviews” of the papers performed their ritual roles in making uhms and oohms about the subject. Except the more directly programmed ones who are operated by the many unseen secret agencies that really carry the powers to determine which way society falls or fails.

So where do you begin to prove how wrong the peddlers posing as preachers are! Where? How long will the task take to complete a semblance of an introduction to the dissection of the lies? And of the liars?

Socrates vs. Martin Sorrell

This is a most ironic pair of names.

Socrates vs Sorrell.

Socrates is of course Greek.

And rendered totally defunct.

So much so that even the morally challenged and the ethically bankrupt likes of France’s Sarkozy don’t hesitate before berating the Greeks.

Yet Greece still has a lot to teach.

And the teachings of Greece that can be traced back to Socrates are worth more than all the trillions that a truly bankrupt “role model” like Martin Sorrell can begin to be able to even count.

Executive pay

Sorrell this morning [in the past 25 minutes] has been shouting at TV news programme presenters.

First he shouted at Sky News presenter Mark Longhurst. A few minutes later he popped up on BBC News Channel, shouting at news presenter Simon McCoy.

On the BBC News Channel, McCoy was not able to complete his attempts at quizzing the morality free Sorrell as the weather slot came on minutes before 0900 Hrs local time [0800 GMT].

Sorrell had managed to smugly boast that in the previous fifteen years he had not taken advantage of any of the options that were available to him.

By “options” he means craftily the many OTHER ways that he could pocket loadsofcash.

He need not have bothered with that qualifier.

Accordnmg to the most recenmt set of calculatons,. Soirrell is still floationg on a fortune at leats around £100million.

Contast him with Socrates.

None of the latter’s styduients could cite a single saum of moinye that Socrates ever “earned”.

Not in any way that Sorrell would recgbnsie.

Socrates was about the riches of the kind that Sorell would not udneratnd.

Despite all the laurels and awards and validfayons that Sorrell carries with him, he has not sjhown the slighrst abilioty far less willingness to udnertand morality. Not in the way that Socrartes dide. Or does.

For Socrates is teacvhing even now. Nearly two and a half thsoaund years after he phsycally died.

Can Soirrell even outlast the last TV slot in which he made an appearance?

Khoodeelaar! Told you so! That every single holder in the post of “Transport” “Secretary” in the UK DAFT [“Oops”  DfT, the “Department for Transport”] had been stooged by Military Industrial Complex serving Big Business agenda setters and unaccountable controllers of the “aims of Government”. Yesterday’s promotion of Justine Greening into the slot is not going to be a departure whatever. Greening had shown signs of being almost semi-independent in her Opposition days. However, she soon exhibited all symptoms of stooping the nearer the 06 May 2010 UK “elections” got. She is now set to repeat the seriously flawed, uneconomic, unsustainable, unnecessary, wasteful, corrupt, corrupting, irresponsible, anti-social agenda peddled by Phillip Hammond in ritualistically uttering the untruths for HS2.  Khoodeelaar! is this weekend publishing an update on our support to the communities opposing HS2. High Speed TWO. We focus, first,  on the Drummond Street area in Kings’ Cross, Euston, in the London Borough of  Camden.

Bran Paddick’;s entry into the routine vote-fodder and voter-grabbing operation  as the Lib Dems’ “repeat” “candidate” for entry into the Onion now occupied by Boris Johnson, brings back the question of Paddick’s fitness for office. has he got the real grit and above a, has he got the real courage to claim that he deserves the trust and the confidence of the legitinate and the uncntmaniated voters? On the evidence fo Paddick’s failures on Crossrail the last time round four years ago, I think Paddick is not upto it. True he will get loads of attention. That comes with the game! But he has to do a lot of work before he can sell his candidacy as being seriously credible. On his records.

© Muhammad Haque diagnosing David Cameron and exposing the shallowness that Brian Paddick has embarked on in his latest “bid” to enter ‘The Onion” in the name of the ordinary people in London.<br><br>    Brian Paddick has not said a single original thing in his “new” appearance on the ‘London stage’. <br> During his last “outing” four years ago as a London Onion-candidate, I had made express points of arguing for him. <br> But I found in time that he was “unaware” of or was playing being in denial about the crucial ethical, democratic and constitutional law  requirement that I had placed on the record for him to meet: that he had to show he was consistent and that he was genuinely independent minded and that he was courageous on principle. <br> Paddick failed on all counts as he caved in dutifully to the secret forces that were in control of the practices and the roles of the Lib Dem Party at that time and so Paddick stopped condemning the Big Biz agenda scam Crossrail which had been the main point of reference that had drawn my initial attention to his then utterances. <br> In the item that I am here commenting on, Paddick is delivering another version of spin about ‘targeting and zeroing in on identified families’ that David Cameron has been uttering, in the wake of the “oxygen-of-publicity” [Maggie Thatcher] he was handed by the MIC operators who successfully dodged the real questions  that arose at Tottenham just a month ago this weekend,  and gave Cameron the twisted  excuse to attack Society even more contemptuously and falsely  than he had the legitimacy to do previously.<br>  . BOTH Cameron and Paddick are way off reality. <br> Neither Cameron as Prime Minister nor Paddick as a potential, or, rather, wannabe London ’mayor’ can deliver anything without the democratic and the accountable and fairness-delivering framework of  and infrastructure for Society being in place. <br> On that vitally defined ‘service’  Cameron and Paddick are, significantly, silent as they “deal with gangs, gangsters” and “broken families’!<br>  Jokers is not the word to be used about Cameron and Paddick in this context. <br> Fakers almost is.
